Three times yeah. We are over the moon with this announcement. Real crossover legends from Venice Beach. Their albums "Split Image" and "The Joke's On You" are heralded classics in the genre with a unique sound. Only Suicidal Tendencies can hold itself against these guys. Also as live band, they have an almost legendary reputation. And have a good listen to for example "Tapping Into The Emotional Void" from their second album and draw your own conclusions. Be there aficionados.
Fifty years of noise, rebellion and Crass spirit
There are several good reasons not to miss this at Oilsjt Omploft. All those, who never saw Crass live, will be getting a marvelous selection of classics that evening. A band that during their existence were rarely seen on the continent. Let's also not forget his memorable passage with Conflict. And merely the fact that Steve and his pals only play a selected list of shows each year, among them at our stage. Punk sometimes means more than music and having the hart on the right place. That goes without saying for this act folks.
We like to write these small bio's for the bands on our line-up. But what on earth are we going to tell you about this lot. Well, imagine yourself in a dodgem at Graspop, with DRI, Anthrax and Municipal Waste playing in the background. After a few head on collisions, you might hear something that sounds like Toxic Shock. And you’ll definitely board your vehicle for the next ride. These guys from Antwerp have a long history with Rock 'n Load Concerts and deservedly so, cause they like to throw a real crossover party. Their most recent work "Future Is Calling" dropped unexpectedly, with nice bumps.
Through the years, Colère, who started out as a 5-piece d-beat/crust/punk band, developed into a more straight forward, fast and angry hardcorepunk sound with occasional nods to d-beat, crust and fastcore. From pubs, squads, tiny venues like The Pits, Antwerp Music City,..., and friends' basements to bigger stages and festivals like Ancienne Belgique, Ieperfest, Grind The Nazi Scum Festival, De Muziekgieterij, ... they play everywhere! Let’s see how they do at Oilsjt Omploft?!

London crossover kings Inhuman Nature are a force of unfathomable power. These road warriors have spent the last 5 years sharpening their steel and becoming a formidable live force. With their new album "Greater Than Death" still ringing in everyone's ears, these servants of aural annihilation will bring their singular attack to Oilsjt. Expect a classic crossover sound and a melange of extremity, with influences from hardcore to crust, death and doom metal. Live victims will be possessed to headbang - or die!
4 punx ripping trough Alosa Streetpunk. The band that got members spanning all of (local) punkhistory. From a '75 buzzsaw guitar, over '81 raw vocals, to a '90 bass and a '10 adhd rocker on drums. They're celebrating their 10th year and are going strong. Mixing it all up in short sharp shocks of '77 infused HC punk! "Hey ho let's go" and celebrate their anniversary party with them and us on your festival.
The gave us not one, but two or even three real classics in the European Thrash Scene catalogue. "Power From Hell describes the almost non existing genre of crust-thrash crossover. "The Force" is none other than an absolute milestone of eighties thrash. The singer on that album (Sy Keeler) is back on the old nest, together with his mates and will be joining them on stage in Oilsjt. You want more than nostalgia? Listen carefully to their acclaimed comeback album stomper "Killing Peace" from 2007 and enjoy with us folks. It is bread and butter for our audience the band a justified thrash headliner.
They describe themselves in their bio as a punkrock band with metal influences. That is simply great for our festival dear gentlemen. And don't let the name bring you in doubt, they are real Swedisch folks. Maybe therein lays the reason for their melodic touch. The come from Göteborg and they even make their death metal melodic there. It didn't withhold them of becoming one of thé most important punk bands with an in your face attitude. This kind of band gives extra flavor to our line-up.
Greece is the starting point of modern democracy people, but not necessarily for thrash. That's why it's even more amazing that a band like Suicidal Angels is one of the, if not thé most important neo-thrash band of its generation. Don't forget that these guys are already working for a quarter century. But they have great amounts of energy and will never let you down on stage. So we love to put them on ours. We just need an enthusiastic moshpit.
Well known German Oi! and streetpunkband, founded in Göttingen 1998. There you go, for the official AI explanation. But we know more. Their classic streetpunk and working-class punkrock contains snippets of reggae and hardcore. That might be the very reason, that a certain mister Lars Frederiksen (from Rancid) is playing guitar in the band with his German friends, since 2015 now. Their latest self titled album, released in 2023, even hit the German charts at number 13. And for all the doubters out there! This skinhead band wears their hart on their sleeve, and welcomes everybody at their unrivaled parties.!
Brace yourselves for a dose of legendary crossover thrash! The American punk/thrash icons of Luicidal are heading for our festival. Founded by former ST members they'll bring the vibes of old skool to Oilsjt. Fans can expect a tight set full of crossover riffs and classics, who stand almost alone amongst peers. A dream becomes reality on Oilsjt Omploft.
Call it Oi! or streetpunk, it doesn't matter! As long as you built up the necessary credibility and get it right on stage. These uncrowned kings of afore mentioned genres did just that on practically every European punk/hardcore festival around, big or small, and quite some international stages as well. They turned Oilsjt Omploft 2024 into a madhouse and that might just repeat itself this year!
Their debut album from 2025 hit like the proverbial bomb. We didn't here this kind of natural born talent from a crossover band with razor sharp riffs, since Municipal Waste or Power Trip made their appearance on the scene. No shameless copying though, but a lot of respect for the genre, where they put their own stamp on. They just had to be on Oilsjt Omploft. Fans of old skool thrash will love this cake and in the same minute they give a long awaited punch of renewal for the genre. We really mean it fans.
We at OO like our punk fast, energetic, and uncompromising. Well, are we in for a treat with these Parisiens. Breakout is primarily influenced by the British and American scenes, but has nevertheless found its own identity by adding elements of hardcore and a touch of rock 'n' roll to their music. As shown by their numerous tours across Europe and shows in USA, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia, the love and respect towards this band is evergrowing! This summer at Mighty Sounds & Alcatraz Festival, next year at Oilsjt Omploft! Up The Punx!
Sometimes things don't need a real explanation. These compatriots play crossover. A dash of thrash, rooted in hardcore and occasionally some death metal sharpness.
